An existing top-floor apartment perched atop the trees and looking out to the harbour, the renovation needed some crafty spatial planning in the very small footprint, as well as protection and orientation from the constant sun.

​

A client with a strong sense of style and requirements, the concept moved swiftly in the direction of Modernism, with a twist into Australian landscape influences. Clean and simple block-shapes and repetitive lineal patterns, with refined natural materials showed the merge of Modern and Australian, thus coined ModernAust.

This was a complete design project including conceptualisation, drafting, full material and colour specifications and detailing as well as furniture fitout.
